Honestly I still love studs — especially pyramid ones — but even though brands from Rebecca Minkoff to Givenchy are still releasing new bags with them, I’m not splurging because when I’m honest with myself I can recognize that I won’t want to be walking around with a studded bag come summer (even though people have been saying studs were going to go out of style for months now…). With that in mind I opted for the Givenchy Sacca over the Be&D Garbo Tote back in August. The Be&D bag is still super-hot though and Taylor Momsen was recently photographed on the Gossip Girl set with it (she wearing it back-side forward in the photo above). I still think this bag is a fun find, I just wouldn’t spend $1,490 on it. The leather is very soft and the size is perfect (especially since you can fold it over, it’s super-easy to take it from day-to-night), but it’s too heavy and too pricey for me right now. If it goes on sale this month though I hope to snatch it:-)
