François Nars knows when he’s got a good thing going. Witness the newest product category to his highly successful “Orgasm” collection: Illuminator. A sheer, weightless fluid that offers the best of what NARS has to offer–refreshment and radiance–think of it as a more subtle substitute to Scott Barnes’s “Body Bling.” Illuminator, with its soft hues of gold, peach and pink shimmer that diffuse into the skin for natural luminosity, joins the current “Orgasm” family members: Blush, Lip Gloss, Nail Polish and The Multiple–all of which have developed cult followings. To represent this new product, Nars chose supermodel and long-time friend Amber Valletta to be the face of the campaign. For the fashion-include, the Illuminator was used to create the looks backstage at the Spring 2010 shows of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Marchesa and Thakoon.
