In conjunction with the international launch of the H2O+ Sea Pure Collection, H2O has partnered with the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater (they’re donating 100% of proceeds from their Sea Pure T-shirt ($20) to the charitable organization), and there are a number of in-store events going on at H2O stores around the country to help support the organization, so check with your local store! As for the line itself, it’s an all-natural line that utilizes deep-sea ingredients and aims to smooth and firm skin. The key ingredients for the line’s skincare are water and sea moss for moisture, sea mayweed to protect against free radical damage, and bamboo extract to exfoliate, while the bodycare is formulated with water for hydration, mineral mud to detoxify and smooth, sea sale to refine, and shea nut butter to moisturize and nourish with vitamins A and E. Prices are, as always, moderate and the packaging is straightforward and unobtrusive. I have yet to try the skincare, but I did try the Sea Pure Cleansing Body Oil ($22), which I’ve been using for the past month or so in the shower as a body wash. It’s a nice alternative for those of us who aren’t into overly-suddy soaps, because it leaves you moisturized and refreshed with only a very light lather. Check-out the line here!
