Start cooking…
Cooking on Thanksgiving requires lots of hand washing (especially post-turkey stuffing…eeck!). Use Lush 13 Soap, Unlucky for Dirt, a rose-scented soap made with oregano, which is a strong natural antiseptic, and antibacterial ingredient. This is a great way to clean soiled hands while you cook, so keep it in the kitchen for easy access.
Clean your house…
Lush suggests using their Charity Pot Hand and Body Lotion to spruce-up your bathroom. All proceeds go to charity, making it a great way to give back on Thanksgiving and it comes packaged in a chic black container. It’s nice and greasy – essential for the dry November weather – and is fragranced with ylang ylang, geranium, and essential oils.
Leave the dishes until tomorrow and give thanks to a hot bath…
I’m hoping my mother follows this advice! Hosting a Thanksgiving dinner comes with so much stress given people’s high expectations of the day (my mother literally “practices” before beginning to cook for the big day). To wash away the day’s stress Lush suggests warming tired, sore muscles with Cinders Bath Bomb and if you want some bubbles to relax , the Comforter Bubble Bar.
Happy and healthy Thanksgiving prep everyone!!
