Judith Leiber Wrap Clutches

I realize Tina just wrote about the Sunburst clutch by Judith Leiber a couple days ago, but I find the Judith Leiber wrapped clutch in crystal beads, as carried by Vanessa Williams on Ugly Betty; and the Art Deco inspired mesh belt Python clutch, both pleasant surprises from what one usually expects from the classic evening brand. These clutches are quite fierce in shape compared to traditional Judith Leiber designs, and blessed with a sensible volume for a big night out.

Many of the Judith Leiber hard case evening bags, no matter how beautiful, simply can’t fit more than a few Q-tips. I was often faced with the dilemma of deciding what’s more important to me before heading out the door. Should I take out the lipstick? (risking looking pale as a ghost after a couple of drinks…) Should I take out the phone? (What if I need to call my bff from the party to tell her about my run-in with Jude Law ??) Should I take out the house key? (So I can have a good excuse to spend the night at Jude’s??) These new Judith Leiber beauties seem to be the glam solution to fit everything plus some pocket change–in case I need to tip the limo driver to keep his mouth shut.
