This is going to sound mean (and on Yom Kippur out of all the days!), but I don’t mean for it to come off as malicious. There are a number of Tory Burch accessories that I like, but can’t bring myself to buy because every time I turn a corner I see someone like Kimora Lee Simmons wearing one of them and I think “eech nooo I can’t get that same thing!” Tory Burch reminds me of Juicy Couture in that way. They both have great buys (seriously! Just put aside all the Juicy Couture decor/ad cheesiness), but the JAP-y/WASP-y meets tacky factor often associated with the people who wear them stops me from buying either of the brands. Maybe that’s stupid of me, because I legitimately like the bag pictured above and the price point fits. There’s also a fab matching bracelet.
