Strange that Angelina Jolie and Lindsay Lohan would have the same taste in bags, maybe Lindsay will one day end up with 7 kids and become an advocate to end world hunger… or not. But I’m writing you about Hammitt Los Angeles Hand Bags, not the potential of Lindsay becoming Mother Theresa, the line is known for their rivet accented bags which are now available in cute clutches, totes, diaper bags (see Angelina) and a slew of other shapes. Whenever I’m in LA, I get all into this casual mode but then I go to New York and am like, “what was I thinking!?!?!” Right now, I must still be in LA mode cuz both the Bel Air (diaper bag below in black for $850) and the Westwood (in brown $485) is appealing to me. Saw the bags at Fred Segal– very rock and roll vibe made of smooth American cow leather that is sturdy yet soft. But I’m certain this is the type of bag that won’t last in my collection.
