Alex Curran’s Christian Louboutin Pillow Satchel: Snob or Slob?

Model Alex Curran was snapped with Christian Louboutin’s Pillow Medium Softy Satchel ($1,995). I’m not a huge fan of Christian Louboutin’s bags — I can’t get over his cheap-looking satin clutches with their heel-shaped closures..eck! Unfortunately this bag isn’t much better. It looks like a bad imitation of the utterly covetable Donna Karan Large Gotham Tote. The diagonal zippers and pleating, the pendant, the lunchbox shape of the bag — it’s all just too much. Visually the bag is also somewhat headache-inducing with all the diagonal lines. There’s nothing fun or spontaneous about it. It does look like it would make for a nice cushion-y pillow if we could somehow get rid of the zippers!
