I loved this bag from afar and ran towards it like a moth to flame, something about the distressed calfskin and sprinkling of small studs really spoke to me and I grabbed it excitedly. That’s when I saw that it’s not perfect, far from it. First, there is a row of silver studs next to the gold on each side. For no apparent reason as there is not a speck of silver anywhere else on the bag. It’d make more sense to carry the dual tone silver/gold throughout the bag, on the handles, etc. The way they did it makes it look like an afterthought. And that giant clasp on the zipper pull threw me off when I turned the bag around. Sigh, is it too much to just ask for a subtle studded bag with a tasteful zipper pull? Another feature that irked me is the side handles for the convertible shoulder strap, sticking out like mini Dumbo ears. I feel bad that I am hating on Prada lately but they are making it difficult for me to love on anything!
Reminds me of that cute guy wearing a brown leather jacket and a goofy smile. Weird.
Anyway. The hardware is rockin’. And distressed leather always has a place in my heart. Very comfy.
This looks like a carnival bag. Too much decoration, and the brown leather is completely boring.
hate hate hate!
its kind of sad that they had to knock off gucci. even though i dislike gucci with a passion at least they are more origional than prada. its so sad because i used to love my prada grey ostrich tote and now i refuse to even look at it… :[
Frankly, it is very difficult for me to understand that american taste, so banal, so bourgeois, I just can’t understand you. This bag is very nice, full of humour and fantasy, I like the silver row and the leather is just fantastic ! As usual with Prada.
I don’t understand if you like a bag why are you dislike it now.. just because Tina doesn’t like prada and you are influenced????
Agreed it looks perfectly for fine for me.. even better than those highly praised by bagsnob.
i like this leather’s color,
I have this bag in the colour gray. So many people have complimented the bag. I agree with the comment above. American tastes vary from us Europeans.
