Christian Louboutin Fred Glitter Lace-Up Shoes: Snob or Slob?

My first reaction to these shoes was eeck! But after seeing them paired with a sleek suit, I’m kind of loving the Fred Astaire meets Michael Jackson look of these Christian Louboutin Fred glitter lace-up shoes ($595). I’m curious what others think because I know there has been a lot of sequins and sparkle in street fashion lately. It’s been a trend for awhile now, but with MJ’s unfortunate passing there has been an acute surge (I can’t go one night without counting at least 20 sequin tops or jackets!). Have you been wearing more sparkle as an homage to the king of Pop? Would you invest in these shoes?
