One of my very best friends, famed Asian actress Kelly Lin, carried a stunning Kotur gold snake d’Abo clutch with a red hot Versace gown to the Shanghai International Film festival this weekend. I gave her the clutch and knew it would look fabulous on her (if you must know, it was a trade– we have been trading things in our closets for about 13 years– it’s so strange that we fit into each other’s clothes even though I’m 6 inches shorter!). There is a lot of rumours about Kel’s love interest, many of you have even emailed me about it and all I have to say is she is very happy 😉

Anyway,maybe you could also advise her to refrain from always wearing black or white , because she is now close to getting boring and predictable. Perhaps you could also advise her to stop beating around the bush when it comes to inquiries from the media, because she is also close to losing her credibility because of her hypocrite statements regarding her personal life. I dont understand if they want to be low profile, but sometimes, denying what’s already obvious is pathetic. She and her idol boyfriend are looking like a couple of liars, and the public arent that stupid like they think. You cant fool the public, and the public nowadays are open-minded. If they are worried that they’ll lose fans because of having a relationship, they better think again. It’s 2009 you know, not the 50’s. Is it so hard to say the truth? I dont think they really want privacy, I think they want to be talked about, since giving away the truth would make the people and the media lose interest on them. If they dont want to be bothered by the media, it’s just simple to tell them not to ask about their private life. Being honest is not like you have to pull off a Tom Cruise stunt, simple acknowledgement could go a long way. But making up stories and acting like- my private is oh so mysterious – is so absurd.And she wants to be respected as an actress?Please,if she and her idol boyfriend cant say anything other than lies, she shouldnt just comment at all.
