Come summer I live in my aviator Ray-Bans. Now, it seems that stars and street fashion folks seem to be all about Ray Bans as well — not the aviators, but the retro Wayfarer style. Everyone I know seems to have snatched-up the iconic style in one color or another (last spring Ray-Ban partnered with Marie Claire to launch a line of colored Wayfarers), so I was excited to see the Ray-Ban Colorize Kit displayed at Bendel’s. It comes with markers, stencils, and a pair of white Wayfarer shades that you can customize yourself so you can stand-out from everyone else wearing color-rimmed sunglasses. I’m seriously tempted to pick-up one of these kits even though I have no artistic ability whatsoever and Wayfarers don’t look good on me. I just love the idea of putting a personal touch on my sunglasses! Has anyone customized their own Ray-Ban shades?
Oh, how fun! I love this simply because I love any DIY kit. 😀
Me too:) My all-time fave is this thing they had at FAO Schwartz..it was make your own monster..it was meant for little kids to design their own stuffed animal, but my bf designed one for me..so cute! http://makemyownmonster.com/
thats a disaster waiting to happen, can u imagine the amount of people who will stuff up the drawings on their sunglasses lol.
Its a cute concept, but i would buy my wayfarers colored already, like lily allens ones 🙂
