After visiting the VBH flagship boutique in NYC I have been seriously obsessed over its bags. There are so many bags I want but top of the list are the Napsac in white ostrich with handpainted quills and studs (trust me, it’s as sumptuous as it sounds!) and the Nomad in dark taupe with ostrich leg handles and removable silver chains. I was bowled over by the quality of its craftmanship, who would think to handpaint each ostrich quill!?!? And wait til you see the stitching, it’s so tightly stitched you almost can’t tell where the leather begins and where the stitch ends. Kelly had the opportunity to interview the visionary behind the brand last month and she had a hard time focusing cuz he was so gorgeous (so jealous)! The white Napsac to the left is priced at $3,350, very reasonable for a handpainted ostrich bag with studded detail (Jump for more bags!!).
VBH boutique is at 950 Madison Ave (at 74th)
The Nomad in taupe is my favorite of the collection, it has removable silver chains that give it a bit of rock and roll edge. The use of ostrich leg on the handles and bottom trip makes it more interesting and luxurious. It actually looks like a crocodile! $3500 at VBH.
Here is the Nomad bag in blue python and removable chains, to die!
I really like these bags. The taupe and natural cowhide models with crocodile and interesting hardware are my favorites. They are classy without showing-off.
WOW! The nomad in taupe is gorgeous!
Tina, you must have these bags! They are understated and stately, the ostrich is also one of the most unique bags I’ve seen!
TO DIE!! Indeed Tina!!! LOVE!!!!!!
