I would not get this bag mainly because it costs money, but if this somehow magically appeared in my closet, I would have loads of fun toting this around. I know, I have said nothing nice about all those ridiculous Valentino floral bouquet creations (and of course the sickly fringey one from yesterday) but this one is charming and pleasing to the eye. All the petals are made from cut out leather but it looks so light and delicate. I expect someone to make a comment that their grandmother would love this but that’s what adds to the appeal, like how homemaking (ie knitting, sewing and cooking) is so en vogue now. It’s like we’re so past all that so we can rest in the comfort of societal acceptance and just enjoy whatever activities we want, however backwards and mundane we all thought it was. This bag looks like you are carrying yarn in it but who cares! Wear this with something sexy and you are rocking the grandma look and demolishing outdated notions and stereotypes.
