Celebs Love Decleor

christina_aguilera400.jpg

I feel like I’m always reading about celebrities loving one Decleor product or another. Oprah is a fan (as is Beauty Snob Kelly!), of Decleor’s Vitaroma Body ($80) and just recently Christina Aguilera told In Style that she loves Decleor’s Ylang Ylang Night Balm ($69). No matter what I may think about Christina’s style, makeup and hair decisions, there’s no denying her beautiful complexion (even if it’s freakishly pale!). While I haven’t tried the Ylang Ylang Night Balm, after reading about it I recently tried their Radiance Revealing Peel-off Mask ($42). I’m not a fan of mud masks, so this one appealed to me because it’s very thin. Actually it’s so thin I had trouble getting it off because you almost can’t see where on your face it is! The mask sort of comes off in pieces (versus one clean swoop), and my skin felt a little tingly afterward, but it dries fast and you only have to leave it on for 7-8 minutes. Though it’s not perfect, the mask is a quick and easy way to nourish your skin in addition to any morning and nighttime routines. Also if you have trouble getting the mask off you can use their Tonifying Lotion. Full ingredient details after the jump!

Ingredients:

Lupin Lipopeptides – obtained from the seeds of the White Lupin Flower, this extract improves microcirculation by dilating the blood capillaries and making it easier for the blood to flow through these tiny blood vessels. The skin reflects the light thoroughly and gives off a healthy, rosy glow.

Fig Gel – rich in sugar and malic acid, the gel moisturizes the skin and creates an invisible film over the skin to limit skin dehydration keeping the surface soft and smooth.

Essential Oils of Grapefruit, Petitgrain and Lemon – detoxify and purify the skin by limiting the development of bacteria.

Protective Agent & Vitamin Complex – a combination of Flavonoids, Orange Extract and Vitamins E & A that protects the skin lipids from oxidation by trapping free radicals from harmful external elements.

Vectorised Minerals – captured into tiny capsules to heighten the delivery process to the skin, this cell energizing complex of minerals, magnesium, copper and zinc, generates a fresh and luminous complexion by aiding the production of ATP, a source of energy for cells, and keeps the skin supple and elastic by promoting the synthesis of keratin, collagen and elastin.

Vitamin Complex (Esters of Vitamins A and E) – the antioxidant and anti-free radical properties prevent the breakdown of skin lipids that are essential for keeping skin moisturized. The vitamin complex enhances the skin’s radiance by promoting cell renewal.

Vitamin F – full of essential fatty acids, helps restore the skin barrier and keeps skin supple.

Provitamin B5 – moisturizes and soothes irritated skin.
