Bottega Veneta Geometric Wool Jersey Dress

For someone who does not have the perfect body, this dress will make me look damn close! This is the same idea as Herve Leger but you kind of have to have a pretty good body already for those tight dresses to look non-offensive. Wool jersey is so much more forgiving! Bottega Veneta is less sexy but in a good way, as in, if you aren’t out to draw attention to yourself. I used to dress to cause a scene but honestly, regardless of my body or age, I no longer have that desire. Could it be maturity? We’ll leave that debate for my mother and sister to sort out. Everyone needs needs a dress like this in the closet for the bloated days but also for those events where you want to show your stuff but in an appropriate way (like work parties or soon to be in-law functions).
