We received word today that in Nina Garcia‘s much anticipated second book, The One Hundred (as in the hundred stylish things every woman must own)– the style guru names Bag Snob.com as one of her five favorite Fashion sites (along with Style.com)! Thanks for the love, Nina. We love you right back! Kelly and I met Nina in NYC last May, she gave us a sneak preview of two of the hundred things a woman must have. 1. Turquoise 2. Coral. She would not tell us anymore than that but if you want to find out, BUY HER BOOK! I promise it will be a delicious read! $21.95 at Harpers Collins for pre-order.
Tina, gonna order right now!! THX!! =)
The book sounds interesting i can’t wait to lay my hands on a copy.
The Little Black Book of Style is sitting at my coffee table this very moment-I love Nina’s style and I cannot wait to read her new book!
Lina….do you have her first book? What is it like and about? Do you think I should order her first book as well as her second?!
Tina…you look gorgeous in the picture above…your skin glows and I just love your dress I so wanted that dress but couldn’t find the perfect colour for me…where did you get the red version?!
L.xo
Also as we are on books…Tina you mentioned in your Gucci post about the history of Coco Chanel along with the House of Chanel….is there a good book you can advice me to read so I can become a little more informed on Chanel and its heritage?!
L.xo
Lottie, you should definitely order Nina’s first book- it’s a timeless guide to style,
all of her tips are worth remembering-this woman is never wrong! There are also contributions from Oscar De La Renta,Vera Wang,Carolina Herrera, etc.
Toledo’s drawings are just too cute for words and I promise you it is the kind of book you would like to pass on to your daughter!
Thanks Lina…hadn’t seen you post for a while have you been on your hols or just busy in your legal world?!
I am going to purchase it off play right now…you seem a well versed fashionista where have you picked up all of your knowledge? Also what does Editor at Large title mean?!
Sorry for my ingnorance! have a great wkend.
Editor at Large is like being a Vice President 🙂
Lottie- I have several Chanel books, all on my table. Let me go look and give you a list later.
As for Nina’s books, you absolutely must get them both. They are fun fast reads, I read the first one in an afternoon and still keep it on my desk 🙂
xoxo
Thanks Tina, look forward to your list!!
So is Editor at Large above or below The Editor?!
I know your busy ladies so thanks for your advice and info!

I’ve just started a new job and I’ve been extremely busy-I am now responsible for both criminal and civil work and it’s just been a highly emotional, nerve wracking first week, getting adjusted to new environment and the amount of work.
I am very flattered by your comment Lottie, I read a lot about fashion and that’s where my knowledge comes from, I can’t say I know everything as I think it’s best to pick what one likes best and explore few chosen subject- I love Hermes & Chanel the most but I keep an eye on season’s trends- Net-A-Porter.com is a great all rounder if you want a quick fix-I find it easier to browse than Saks’s website. UK’s Vogue website-vogue.co.uk- I wish I could keep up with my blog but I have so little free time these days! My boss is great and I have flexi working hours but it’s still not nearly enough to do everything I would like to:)
I have the Little black of style, am ordering this one right now. Thanks, T!
Love the photo by the way, is that the RM dress I see?
Tina—have you seen the NG chocolate

L.xo
Lottie, I will keep you posted on my sueded croc tote, I wish you can see this bag.
I was looking for a photo for you, but can’t find….perhaps T&K will feature it…
I know what you mean about suede, its hard to keep from harm, I think it also depends on what kind of climate you live in.
B.. =)
