The Miu Miu Vitello and Matelasse bags were both major hits for the brand not to mention widely copied. No surprise they decided to combine the two looks for the Vitello Patchwork this fall. Not loving it for me, but i think it’s perfect for the younger more bohemian set.
On a completely different note, I am ready for an exotic Birkin. My Hermes SA comes back from mat leave next month so I will be “taking the plunge” then. Tina, what are your thoughts? I was thinking a graphite croc? Any other ideas? I want to be well prepared before I make this major purchase.

I love that front pocket! I saw this bag and fell in love with the practicality of it. Might get this if it comes in a fun berry color for Fall.

How funny…I just saw this bag on the arm of some starlet today and now I can’t remember who it was.

Manbag, she may very well have carried it around. Gym lockers are notoriously unreliable and if I had no choice but to carry a certain very expensive bag to the gym (e.g. no time to return home to change bags), I will bring it around with me as well. Don’t judge too fast.
sorry celine. i’m with manbag and b! i think it’s pretty clear what she was doing walking around the gym with her GRAPHITE CROC BIRKIN and i guarantee you it wasn’t working out. she just wanted everybody to be ohing and ahing over her bag. probably the only way she can get attention. it’s sad really!

This bag has been produced in a blue….pinkie/purplie colour….I was tempted with the blue as I thought it would look fab with some jeans or cute summer dresses! I saw it in Harvey Nicholls…surely Barneys/Saks had them for spring/summer?
I am about to take delivery of my very first Birkin I order when in Paris….I feel so greedy as I am already thinking what could i have next croc…ostrich?! Are exoctics better in 30cm or smaller?

Once I went to have a run with a friend during my travel,we were going to have a few miles run,so I carred my travel birkin[of course not a croc,a leather in olive]with my extra clothes,water,snacks. when my friend came to pick me up I had to explain I only have one big bag with me. runing clothes with a birkin?that’s not a good match.we had to park her car at a park before the run,I did put a bit pressure on her, she worried all the way during the hour run.I left the bag on the seat…I swear since then I always pack another slouchy bag incase something came up like this. a Birkin embarrassing situation i may say it.

Miu Miu makes cute things, but this bag, like a few other bags of theirs are so so dull!
i’m not feeling tis bag at all. the diamond pattern = clown, and clowns are SCARY. i esp would not want it in any colours because that would just enhance the clown-ness of it, but i will say the bag is amazingly light!
