I can’t believe I found a Fendi bag that didn’t make me cringe! I was a Fendi fanatic in the late ’90s thanks to the baguette but the last few years the brand has hugely disappointed me. Other than the ready to wear which I love, I generally stay away from Fendi when it comes to bags. But for Fall, the Secret Code has my attention. It’s not a great bag but I do find parts of it intriguing. The handle is alien-ish modern and the stones, is that some sort of secret code from the Kaiser? Would be really cool if you had to punch in a code on the stones to make the flap open. The gold hardware actually is a bit reminiscent of YSL as is the stitching but other than that, it is a decent bag. The shape is fairly classic, perhaps this is the new baguette for the millennium, or the Wall-E age (have you seen? Love that movie!) At Neiman Marcus.
