Tanner Krolle Sudie Python

My love of all things neutral colored lately continues, mostly because I am starting to feel like a rainbow sherbert these days what with wearing my orange ostrich birkin with every color from royal blue to jade green. Fun as it has been, enough is enough. Bring on the camel tones and grays! I came across this fabulous bag from Tanner Krolle; one of England’s greatest leather brands– founded in London in 1856 by Fredrick Krolle, a second-generation saddler. The Chanel group owned the brand until 2002, when it was bought back by a British group who promised to offer some of the best bags the UK has ever seen. It certainly looks like they made good on the promise, check out this lovely Sudie python stunner. I adore python and in this subtle shade of pale chocolate brown it really makes my mouth water.

It is fastened on the side with a clasp which gives it a tiny touch of ruching without looking ridiculous and the strap wraps all the way around the bottom base, such great details! And who would think to turn the bag upside down but when you do, the bottom is as lovely as the top! I love how the modern polished rings look on the python skin. Most designers don’t know how to properly embellish exotic skin, just a touch of shimmer is all you need. The handles can slide through the rings which cinches and closes the magnetic top; perfect for shoulder carry. The only drawback for me is it’s really big, 17″x13″, which means I’ll only be admiring it from afar. Sigh… Tanner Krolle Sudie Python Convertible Bag $3895 at eLuxury
