I love Phillip Lim, for myself that is. So imagine how excited I am to shop Phillip Lim for my daughters? This Petal Front Tea Dress is really sweet and looks like kid’s fashion but it isn’t so spectacular that it warrants the $225 price tag. It is sheer with a lining so it isn’t something that is comfortable for everyday, in fact, I don’t think I could convince my daughter to put this on (she is into cotton T’s these days). There are other styles that are super fashionable but they are not appropriate for kids and didn’t even look that great on their adorable child model. Some things just aren’t meant to be made in tiny sizes. And you thought anything teeny tiny would be cute, right? I am hoping the line will evolve and incorporate the things that matter to parents – comfort, ease and non-dry clean!
