Since I usually end up spending an embarrassing amount of money on shampoos and conditioners, I was so pleased to find this little gem from Alba Botanicals for less than $10 (now I will have more money to splurge on bags)! I have fine hair and wash it once a day (against Beauty Snob’s advice but it goes so limp!) but I found this mango shampoo to be gentle and effective for daily cleansing. It doesn’t leave any residue behind and it didn’t strip my hair and scalp of natural oils. The shampoo has a nice rich mango scent, not overpowering, but a fresh and yummy way to invigorate your morning! The conditioner is equally great… After using most conditioners my hair feels heavy or like there is a film on it, but this one was moisturizing and rinsed out completely. My hair tends to get a greasy feeling by the end of the day, but Alba hair products managed to keep my hair clean and soft all day!

I want to say that I just saw these products at my local Target, but I can’t be sure because I glanced at the display but didn’t buy anything. I might have to try them now, the price point is definitely what I like to see as a college student. Does anyone have experience with their other products?
i’ve used several alba shampoos and conditioners and have had a variety of results… i *love* their “very emollient daily conditioner.” and i am super-picky about conditioners. they’re hawaiian line didn’t really do anything for me though. at least it’s cheap enough you can pick up a couple bottles and see what works best.
I just started using their Aloe and Green Tea oil free lotion for my face, and I love it! Most facial moisturizers make my skin feel oily but this stuff just makes it feel silky, and it goes great under makeup.
I have used the SPF lotion for years now, doesnt smell, is not sticky and goes on just like yummy lotion, and I got soooo excited it I could spot it on the film ‘little children’.
I super heart all the alba line.
