Castle Logix by Educational Insights.

We have been so toy focused lately, but ’tis the season so here is another gift idea. This year I have had it with unchallenging toys that are not educational. I am personally sickened by the amount of toys in our playroom (we -my 3 year old and I – are currently working on donating several) and especially those that make tons of noise and serve little purpose. Many are played with for five minutes and never touched again. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. are all searching for fantastic gifts at all price points. Here is a great toy that is educational, fun, and at $20 won’t blow your budget. Castle Logix by Educational Insights is a single-player logic game. I love this toy because it challenges kids to apply thinking and problem solving skills. Using the wooden castle pieces, kids must rearrange the shapes to replicate a picture. The difficulty level ranges widely, making this a great game for the whole family. While it is recommended for ages 5 and up, I am going to attempt it with my daughter. I don’t see why she can’t try to match the picture and I will help her build. If it’s too hard, I have nieces and nephews who will love it.
