Snob Essentials

Fall Toddler Trends

We all want our kids to look cute; however their daily activities really dictate what they wear. I know that I can’t send my daughter to school in designer outfits unless it is picture day. Every article of clothing worn to school ends up covered in her creativity, which don’t get me wrong, I think is fantastic. I love knowing that she has expanded her mind through hands on experiences and I don’t care how many t-shirts that costs me. Essentially, she has two closets: cute school clothes and just cute clothes. I make every attempt to ensure that both closets are stylish. In order to stock up accordingly, I asked my friends at Neige Clothing, sophisticated and playful kids clothing primarily available at Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus, and Canadian specialty store Holt Renfrew, what’s hot for the season. This fall here are the trends filling up the snobbiest tot hangers:

Gray, Gray, Gray!! Just like adult fashion this season, kids are sporting gray too. Neige offers a variety of fall items in slate. I love the boys Oliver Shirt made of jersey material (pictured in slate below left). However, I think the other items pictured Owen Pant (pictured with Oliver Shirt), London Shirt, and Cameron Pant are all snobworthy for fall. For girls, I like the Rebecca Dress (below right) made of an iridescent cotton. Contact Neige for retailers.

Wide leg pants aren’t just for moms. Girls are wearing wide legs too. I really like these Ralph Lauren CHMB Adie Pants (pictured below left – $45). Available at Saks. Additionally, look at this yummy velour set pink cuddle hoodie($58) and pant (pictured right – $42). The name alone makes you want to curl up with your little snuggler. Available at Chasing Fireflies.

Tweed is hot this winter…literally. Warm up the kids dressed in tweed jackets, pants, or skirts. This jacket and pant will carry you through the Holiday party season. Harlon Jacket and Finley Pant from Neige.
