Have you Snobby Mommas seen these? Baby Legs, leg warmers for the little ones. They are so adorable that the pictures make me want to buy one of everything. WouId I really use them? I feel like I would just throw a pair of pants on my tot instead. However, I do see their potential. They keep legs warm when changing a diaper and your child is only dressed in a onesie. So, that is purposeful around the house, but I would want everyone to see these cute things. Baby Legs prevent crawlers from getting red knees and minimize scrapes when new walkers fall. Ok, this is a good reason to have them, but if your kids are wearing pants, their knees are covered and if it is warm enough for shorts, do you really want to put leggings on them? Remember, I live in the south where it is Africa hot most of the time and the rest of the time, just plain hot. But for those who live in cold climates, it is nice to have the added warmth under pants or with a skirt or dress. For the leggy baby, if pants run short just slip these on underneath to cover the gap. But can’t striped socks do the same thing? How short are we talking? I mean if your kiddo’s pants are too short shouldn’t you go up a size? Now, I might put Baby Legs on the arms. Tia Carrere’s daughter (top picture) introduced this trend on Oprah. I think it is a really cute look especially for the transitional fall to winter days. Another plus, Baby Legs are extremely portable and could become a stylish staple in the diaper bag without crowding out the necessities. You never know when you may need a pair of easy to throw on footless stockings…I guess. Many customers including celebs like Mira Sorvino, Angie Harmon, Holly Robinson-Peete, Angela Bassett, and Diane Farr love their baby legs. Personally, I think these are better for older kids to wear as a fashion item. I am definitely conflicted, but at 10% functional, 90% total cuteness and only $12 a pair it’s worth a shot. I mean how often does practical matter when it comes to fashion especially for the little ones.
What do you guys think? Should babies strut their stuff in Baby Legs?
