Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was recently photographed on her Daddy’s hip wearing these terrible moccasin slip-ons from Kitson. The moccasin slipons $18 are black with a red skull & crossbones on them. Anyhow, I would never put these on my boy, and dare they go on a girl. While the skull & crossbones may be the latest craze, I am not sure it is great to put it on the little ones. They just came into this world & we feel it necessary to dress them in symbols of death? As for poor Shiloh, I guess this is what you get when you mom wears a drop of blood around her neck & thinks it is ok to french kiss your brother. Thank goodness Shiloh has such a beautiful face that I hope no one will look at her feet when she is wearing them.
What is wrong with skulls and crossbones for a girl? I know you don’t like it at all, but I don’t really see a reason why it should be gender specific!
What concerns me even more id skulls for older kids. I saw a skull dress at H&M the other day, in a size that would fit my 4 year old. She, of course, does not know what a skull is. I could just imagine it; “mommy, what’s on my new dress?” “those are skulls baby” “What’s a skull mommy?” “Why, it is a head without skin honey”.
