You might think this is a museum piece but it is in fact a bag you can actually buy! The Dior Samourai 1947 is like a piece of art, the unique basket weave and straps with tortoiseshell frame is like no other bag out there. It even comes with a Louis XVI picture from tag. It is on the fence of being costumey but with a simple chic dress and stiletto heels you will make the right statement. It is just the most interesting bag I’ve seen in a long time – it is design intensive without being ridiculous and unusable (sure, this is not something you take out everyday, but it doesn’t have to be, this is something you save for the right occasion). I love the fuchsia but the brown is beautiful and elegant and does not distract from the amazing details.
