When I saw this minimalist and subtly detailed tote, I couldn’t believe it could be from Roberto Cavalli, who of course is known for it’s flamboyant and over the top gowns favored by the likes of Beyonce and J. Lo. I really like this big bag and I find it to be perfect for the summer when I do a lot of running around. There are tabs on the sides that gather the gusset and when removed allows for extra room. The brown stitching is great for a white bag because it makes it so nice when I wear my favored dark color linen pants. The lining of bags is so very important and the suprise silk leopard print in this bag does not let you forget that it is in fact a Cavalli. At Net a Porter for $1490.
This is gorgeous! I actually thought that it was a sketch at first!!
OMG! I JUST saw this on Net-a-porter myself, like 2 seconds ago, and was thinking exactly the same thing! How do you do it, Bag Snob!?!?! Brook , London
Hey Bag Snob??
In the December 06 / January 07 issue of Paris Vogue I spotted a Chanel bag in a Union Jack design, but haven’t been able to find it on the Chanel web site. Do you know anything about it?? Thanks. Brook , London
Nice. It seem to remind me of a Furla bag.
I agree, Julia!! It looks like a combo of Tods and Furla. It’s gorgeous.
Now I have to go and see if it has any other colors. White and me do not agree . . . the minute I wear anything white it has a mocha stain on it.
its very streamline without losing the cavalli mark. the quiet one.
it reminds me of tod’s carey media but more finesse.
i would luv to see a size that fits petite women and in a different color.
But he hasn’t stopped using animal fur
