Chantecaille is by far the best line I’ve ever used. Tina will fight me to the death on this and swears Natura Bisse is better but I am so hooked on Chantecaille I can’t even be objective anymore. I was a strict La Mer freak for years and it still has it’s place in my skin repertoire. (It was developed by a chemist to heal his skin after he burned it during a lab accident!). Chantecaille has a much more diverse and full range of products. For a moisture treatment, there is the Flower Harmony for basic hydration (with no firming qualities). But they are known for their miraculous anti-aging products, especially the Biodynmic Lifting Cream. It rebuilds the collagen and elastin in the skin, promotes cell regeneration and the most amazing thing is that it has 83% active botanical ingredients, meaning the botanicals are doing stuff for you and not just there to smell good. There is no other line on the market with this high concentration of botanicals. Think of it this way, if you are buying all organic meats and produce, it only makes sense to treat your largest organ, your skin, with the same amount of care.
For more intense lifting and anti-aging, add the Vital Essence Serum to your regiment. It is also good for all around redness and inflammation and is 95% botanicals. The Vital Essence Serum V.2 is for more oily skins. It is not effective used alone, you should combine this with either the Biodynamic Lift or the Flower Harmony. This product is safe to use around the eyes, which is a special area we need to pay particular attention to. The skin around the eyes (and the lips, too) have no pores, that is why special eye creams are recommended for the sensitive area. And that leads me to the best eye cream known to man: the Stress Repair Concentrate, it hydrates, firms, lifts, eliminates puffy eyes and dark circles. Every eye cream says it does all that but this is the only eye cream I have seen with my own eyes to perform real miracles. My aunt has been using this for 6 months and it has fixed the bags and lines around her eyes that plastic surgeons couldn’t accomplish with 2 procedures. She finally gave up on the knife and spent the $170 on the Stress Repair. See, if I told you this eye cream was $170 before the story, you would have thought it was expensive. But compared to 2 cosmetic procedures, it sounds as inconsequential as an afternoon latte at your favorite coffee shop. And that is the moral of the story. When it comes to skin care, prevention is by far a better investment than your 401K. If you use Chantecaille for the next 10 years, it will cost $8,000 and you get to keep your own face. A face lift is $25,000 and you end up looking like a clown. Stress Repair Concentrate for $295 and Biodynamic Lifting Cream for $170 at Neiman Marcus online and at Barney’s New York stores.
