Is Gucci knocking off Guess? Without looking at the logo and obviously without looking at the quality, you would think that the Gucci bag was more like a Guess bag based on the style, right? I think you’re in trouble when you start making bags that look more like the labels that are knocking you off in the first place. So is this quid pro quo? By knocking them off back? Guess bag is $75, Gucci is $830.

Even their ad campaigns are looking a little Guess-ish.
Well, those of us who are of a certain age will recognize this Gucci logo as the one that appeared on the bags (INside the bag) back in the 50s and 60s. Not sure what inspired this particular adaptation of the logo, but to be honest, nothing they’ve done lately has been even remotely attractive, in my opinion. How sad.
Oh my God. I didn’t realize until MCG said it – Gucci ads are looking like Guess Ads! But yes, i have to agree that Gucci hasn’t been turning out the best bags from Italy anymore. I miss the “Bullet” and “Anastasia” bags they used to make when Tom Ford was with Gucci. But, you’d be surprised…the new designer rakes in tons of cash with her new Gucci designs!
