When it comes to the all-out luxurious and delicately decadent, it really doesn’t get more amazing than a mini-trunk. Nicolas Ghesquière got everyone panting for the LV Petite Malle, when he revealed his debut collection for Louis Vuitton earlier this year. There is no doubt there will be a domino effect; a mini-trunk craze is sure to follow, becoming a major trend and not only for the house of Vuitton.
I’m naturally going to hold out for the Petite Malle, but that doesn’t mean there’s no room for other trunks in my fast-growing collection. Like Aspinal of London’s fun, flirty interpretation.
