House of Harlow 1960, Nicole Richie’s Frugal Snob-friendly accessories line, is mixing metals for a collection of pieces that would have even the most stone-faced warrior princesses giddy with excitement. Nicole describes the brand’s target girl as “confident and fun yet still a bit reserved and elegant.” A well-traveled girl like her would wear the Moroccan-inspired Marrakech Souk necklace ($70) with anything from a distressed brown leather jacket to a ladylike cocktail dress. Even more likely, she’d go for the bigger statement – the Queen of the Night necklace ($95). In spite of its name, the gold-plated half moon could just as easily make you the queen of the day. It’s like a mini breastplate with spiked ends – the refined way of letting onlookers know that you’re not someone to underestimate. Then there’s the tribal-inspired Traditional Tuareg cuff ($95), also arrowheaded at the ends for emphasis. The mix of gold and silver is just begging for two-toned companion cuffs. Warrior princesses never leave the palace without at least five. Available on Zappos.
Very cute and great prices too.
