Who else but Alex Wang would come up with this way-dramatic satin blouse? Way, way dramatic! With five luxurious streamers, this creation puts all other “going-out tops” to shame. It makes for a gown-like effect, but you can wear with it jeans. I mean, how freaking fabulous is that?
The top portion, with a bibbed shirt collar is almost mundane, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s the perfect foil for the billowing, bias-cut streamers trailing down to the floor. I wouldn’t let these fantastical shirttails touch the ground, for the sake of pragmatism, although keeping them train-like provides the most oomph (and imagine hemming all five straps?).
Don’t be shy about showing up for cocktails or dinner in this. I say, why not go for it? Just picture yourself making an entrance, with a brisk but even-keeled stride, hypnotic streams trailing behind with theatrical flair. (There are even a few slits for maximum movement).
