This chainmail-esque mesh with an oversized bow is quirky in only a way Marni can do it. The textural mesh detail is irregular, and that disorder is needed to offset such a delicate look – or else it would be more prissy than progressive. It’s so tactile that it kind of reminds me of an ornate abacus – the rows of knotted gold-tone brass all stacked up.
