Summer, snakeskin, sky-high, snob-tastic, need I say more? These Lanvin platforms just make me squeal with anticipation of short dresses, bare legs, and shoes so high that I tower over all of my friends, family and boyfriend. I love the simplicity of the black straps. These could have gone down-hill if they had covered them with beads, buckles and bows (oh, my) but they kept it classy with the black grosgrain ribbon that wraps around the ankle. My only concern with these is that the platform may get a little heavy after a while. If you are planning on spending a lot of time walking around, the ribbon may end up being not so sexy when it’s cutting off circulation.
Nonetheless, these are fabulous, and if they feel heavy, I will just park it on a bench and admire them for a while.
