Alexis Bittar was nominated for the CFDA accessories designer of the year last year for good reason. These earrings show her creativity – the shaped wire makes me think of a bird cage housing a precious little gem. Well, it isn’t so precious, it is some undetermined stone but who cares, it looks great. The cage will dangle on your ear like a floating lantern – gorgeous! This is a great way to add whimsy to even the most serious boring outfits, and it isn’t so “out there” so is perfectly appropriate for work. At Nordstrom for $195.
