Kirna Zabete is one of those boutique along with IF, Jeffrey, and Opening Ceremony that many fashion-conscious New Yorkers, not looking for run-of-the-mill designer fashions, swear by. The two women who own the boutique have an impeccable eye and it’s hard to step foot into their boutique and not come-out with at least one treasurable piece. I have to question their choice to stock Lanvin’s Feather Necklace ($573) though….eeck! There’s something dirty about the look of this piece and from far away it looks like human hair! I’m so over feathers and I’m disappointed that Lanvin – largely responsible for ushering in the bib necklace trend seasons ago – is responsible for this piece.

I think it’s kind of a cool piece but I’d probably look like a Pocahontas impersonator wearing it….:)
Good idea but maybe it’s too much “old”…It has a taste of osmething too much wild and old!!
