(Wolf whistle)– Hellloooo, beauty! Trust Bottega Veneta to make my heart flutter time and again– the Noce Ostrich trimmed in crocodile is a tear inducing work of perfection… I am seriously in lust! Less is really more when it comes to Bottega! No fancy hardware or frills, just clean lines and the best quality skin an animal can offer. Animal activists will crucify me for saying this but I can not help my love of soft skins, especially if it is exotic. If it’s any consolation, most animals used are farmed providing an entire industry which stimulates the local economy not to mention the food they provide. (okay, I am stretching here– I do feel a bit guilty at times.) 
But back to the utterly supple and gorgeous Noce bag, it is the perfect shade of luggage brown in ostrich with just a touch of attitude from the chocolate crocodile trim. Notice how the subtle little crocodile buttons clasp the straps to the bag, is that not just divine? Exposed zippers on bags usually dangle at the ends and look sloppy, see how they’ve attached it to side straps, talk about form and function. God, I love this bag! I feel like a dirty old man staring at a luscious hot chick, I want I want I want! This is all I need for Fall, really, I won’t buy the other 25 bags I swore I had to have. This is it. Hi. I too like your taste in bags. This BV is real fun. Just bought me a similar from YSL (in case you didn´t know). Having big troubles to justify my husband that it was vitally important. Do you know how to handle this civilized? I´m open to all types of answers.My hb will buy all sorts of stuff needed on our small farm and I keep quiet. But when it´s a question of luxe stuff,he doesn´t really understand.

pretty! i do like how they designed the side straps, it makes it look casual but it’s not sloppy at all. also, have you ever visited a crocodile or ostrich farm? perhaps that might make you feel better? i think it’s okay to use skins or eat meat as long as you know exactly what goes on in the process and can accept it (i think it makes you more knowledgeable and respectful.) maybe you should make a few phone calls and try to see how it works, it might make for a good post and solve some of your internal dilemmas 🙂

OK…I am in LOVE with this bag. I called the Costa Mesa store and was told that they are only getting 1 of these bags in. It does come in deerskin with the same trim. They already have the black one in the store. The very kind salesperson measured the bag and told me that it is 16 x 15. The bag is unstructured when it is empty of the stuffing so it will probably look smaller. My question is, “Isn’t that a really big bag for someone who is 5 feet tall (which I am)???” What do you think?? I know that you said that the blue Muse bag was too big for you, so wouldn’t this one be too???

Actually this bag is not as big as the measurements make it seem. It slouches and folds into itself 🙂 The muse was structured so it was no good.
